Berks East Gymnastics is owned and operated by Mike Vanim. Mike is a member of the Pennsylvania State Gymnastics Committee. Mike has been involved in gymnastics since 1991 as a coach and a judge.

Some experts say that the greatest benefits of gymnastics training for children are physical: the amazing power, balance, agility, and grace. Other experts say that the benefits are to the mind: perseverance, poise, confidence, attention to detail, and concentration.

Which is right? Our staff knows. The answer is, without a doubt, both.

Berks East Teachers

We are very proud of our professional staff here at Berks East Gymnastics. Each instructor is a gymnastics professional and trained to safely bring out the best in each child by encouraging each child to exceed their perceived limitations.
All Staff is USA Gymnastics Safety Certified, and Instructor/Professional Members in USA Gymnastics.
Our master staff has over 100 years of combined teaching experience. Each instructor has also successfully completed the USA Gymnastics Safety-Risk Management course as part of their training. In addition, our staff participates in regular continuing education clinics and seminars as part of their commitment to excellence.
